Nothing good comes from Alabama. To many complaints over that plant. 2005 Mercedes started getting control back in the finale product.

It's a good deal but (oh my god) don't do it. A 5-litre V8 costs bundles in pertol, tax, insurance etc.etc. If you are going for an old ML go for the economical 320 CDI far cheaper more MPG and probs about the same torque as in the 500.
In the real world these days it's not about 0-60mph or top speed because you can't do it in the UK and im sure you can find a 320 CDI kitted out for a damn sight less than £25,000 !!!

that's a pretty good deal depending on the condition it's in. Check this one out on ebay though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/M-Class-Mercedes-Benz-M-Class-ML500-SUV-Automatic-5-0L_W0QQitemZ180145042850QQihZ008QQcategoryZ6337QQs sPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

if you're looking into an suv though, you'd be better off with an xc90 volvo, or the x5 bmw. just my $.02!
