The car has no sunroof and its not coming through the window because the dashboard area is not wet. The car leaks below the dashboard area. Could it be a blocked drainage somewhere, is this a known problem?

Your windshield is leaking , Get a windshield repair man or get you some sealer at the parts house and seal around the side that is leaking make sure its dry, Get you some strong tape and tape the wind shield down to your car when done. hope this helps.

does your car have a sunroof, if so, check the drainaige pipe of the sunroof. They are located in the door pillars and at the windshield pillar.
should it not be the windshield leaking, check for drainplugs etc under the das, floormats and engine bay.
