2month ago we bought a 1998 mercedes benz e320. It was really ok until 2 days ago. We fogot to turn off the light for 12 hours and the battery was dead. We charged it but in Park And Natural gear the engine sounds realy bad. After one day a check engine electronic light is on and in the Drive gear when we drive 5 minutes the car does not go forward. it just stopes and you push the gas pedal. The mechanic says it is error 700 and it is transmachine. He askes us for 1800$. What shuold we do? Is this a reasonable price?
