I just got a used 2000 mercedes ml320 about a week or two ago. I was drving it the other day with my dad and he was playing with the gears (like the up shifts and down shifting) and now its been making noises. Should i get it checked out or just try shifting again? Right now its just in drive when i use it.

Drive at 50-60 MPH on fifth gear then try putting down to 1st should fix it..
