I am thinking of buying a 1999 Mercedes CLK 320 with 78,000 miles on the clock. I have heard that Mercedes cars built between 2000 and 2004 had very poor build quality as the Mercedes accountants were on a major cost-cutting drive. What do I need to look out for with this car, if anything? Thanks.

Anything made by mercedes is great. and whoever you heard that from is wrong my dad has a c320 mercedes benz and it has no problems. I think the clk would be a great thing to buy.
