I am considering buying a used Mercedes Benz S-Class with 30,000 miles on it. Even with those numbers, the car still costs about $75,000 (since it costs $90,000 NEW).

How reliable are BENZs?
Is there truth to the rumors of "electrical problems"?

I test drove the S550 and its a mesh of computer technology and advanced systems so I could see how they could have problems but I'm wondering if the car is made fine enough to avoid most of those problems.
