Thinking about buying one of the two but not sure which one, both under 60k miles, fully loaded, both sexy cars but which one is better in the long run, in terms of reliability, comfort & resale value

I own a 2005 CLK500 convertible. I bought it out of desire, not good financial sense.

With that said, I would vote for the Acura when it comes to reliability. Honda is top notch when it comes to building defect free cars.

Check http://autos.msn.com/ reliability report for an idea of what you're dealing with. Also Consumer Report has a list of cars and their dependability stats.

I almost bought the Acura TL TypeS but had wanted to replace that 76 Eldo conv. that I wrecked(another problem car) a few years back with another 4seater convertible. The CLK fit the bill(not funny so stop laughing).

Go to http://autos.msn.com/ and check their reliability reports for the year and make you want to buy.
