I have a judder on my 2006 E320 CDI Sport, it appears to be coming from the O/S front wheel area. It is completely baffling my main Mercedes Dealer, they haven't got a clue and have tried everything, new tyre's, wheel balancing, new wheel, steering geometry, wheel alignment, prop shaft, torque converter (?).
It seems to be worse when the car is cold and then eases off a bit as the car warms up, you can feel the juddering through the steering wheel, accelerator and gear selector, but not through the brake pedal when braking. It really is annoying when I know the car used to be so smooth, Mercedes are even telling me all E Classes are the same, which is a load of old bull.
Any ideas anybody?
The juddering is always prevelant, not so noticeable on side roads at low speed. It is more noticeable on the motorway (nice smooth road), starts about 60mph and gets worse the faster you go. Gearbox is 7 speed auto.
