I have a 1998 ML 320 with 150K miles that starts right up when its really cold .. <38 F, then quits. The next twist of the key it usually starts fine, and holds, but the colder its gets the more times I have to try starting it. There is no cold start valve on this car, so how does it sense temp. Any ideas as to what the problem is?
