Hi All

Newbie here and i have a problem with starting i hope u can help me with,
i have a 1999 a140 advantgarde , 1.4, the problem i have has just started, as i i jump in the car try to start it and it just turns over , battery is fine, if i try a number of time it will start, then i could go maybe 1 mile and it just dies and wont start just turns over again, after waiting ten mins it starts but does exactly the same, it is not always the same distance before it dies it could be any distance and sometimes it will start after 2-3 mins and sometimes 5-10 mins , someone said my alarm immobilser could be playing up but to be honest that makes no odds to me,lol, anyone have any ideas?

sounds like a fuel issue to me. probably fuel pump problem, or fuel blockage. car cant run without fuel

thats where i would start.

unlikely to be immobiliser as it just wouldnt start at all with immobiliser fault.
