...to know about.? I'm interested in purchasing a 2000 Mercedes Benz Cl500 with under 50,000 miles. I know the 2000 model is the first year the second generation CL500 came out, which I don't know if it's a good or bad thing. Anyone here ever owned this type of Mercedes, did you like it, was it reliable, any problems I should be aware of? I would appreciate all comments. THANKS!

Generally speaking, the first year of a model generation should be avoided. That's when they still haven't worked the kinks out. Especially with a Mercedes which, while they are a THRILL to drive, aren't always the most reliable cars out there. I'd try to find a 2001 if I were you.
