I have just purchased a A140 on a 51 plate.The only problem i have is with the throttle.
Going from start up:
All warning lights go out ok.
Tick over about 800 and smooth.
accelerate to 60mph good and smooth,
Take foot of pedal and slows down normal.
accelerate over 65-70mph ok,
take foot of pedal and slowing down is far from normal, Enging keeps reving slightly and the car is intermitently wanting to accelrate as its slowing down until the speed drops to bellow 60mph then it slows down normal.
The air filter looks new and clean.
I have tried a carburetter cleaning spray in the air intake but so far no success.
any ideas please,

If anyones interested the cleaning spray is starting to work.I removed the air filter and sprayed the carb cleaner into the air intake and its geting better every time.
